AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), a leading investor in onsite sustainable energy solutions, has further expanded its rapidly growing team with three experienced hires.
AMPYR Distributed Energy strengthens team with trio of new appointments
Alex Papastefanakis joins the business as Senior Investment Manager, bringing extensive experience spanning more than 10 years in the green investment sector. Prior to joining ADE, CFA charterholder Papastefanakis was Vice President of Cubico Sustainable Investments – a developer, operator and owner of renewable energy assets.
During his career, he has also worked with businesses including Akereos Capital in a financial advisory capacity, as well as Macquarie’s Green Investment Group. Alongside contract underwriting, Papastefanakis will play a lead role in deal execution and decision making, as well as financial modelling and analysis.
Alongside Papastefanakis, experienced data scientist Divya Singh has joined ADE as MIS Data Analyst. With an MSc in data science from UCL, Singh has held data roles across the UK and Europe, including with the Elisabeth-TweeSteden Siekenhuis (ETZ) hospital in the Netherlands.
In her new role, Singh will lead the development of a standardised reporting system for portfolio data via SharePoint, integrating CRM workflows to streamline data management and support key business decisions.
Papastefanakis and Singh join recent recruit Angus Berry, who was appointed as Development Manager earlier this year. Having spent more than 25 years in the renewable energy and carbon management industries, Berry has held senior roles for large infrastructure companies including South West Water, Thames Water and BT Group.
At ADE, Berry is working closely with Development Director Neil Borrill-Carroll to deliver technical engineering support and consultancy to channel partners. By doing so, he is helping to accelerate projects from inception through to delivery.
