AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), a leading investor in onsite renewable energy solutions, will once again sponsor the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Theatre at this year’s Solar & Storage Live (S&SL) exhibition. Taking place at The NEC in Birmingham between 23-25 September, the event will see more than 20,000 visitors, 500 exhibitors and 250 speakers join together to accelerate the adoption of solar energy.

As headline sponsor of the theatre, ADE will enable a series of 23 speeches, presentations and panel debates surrounding the global scale-up of commercial and industrial solar deployment. Alongside optimising project finance, advances in battery energy storage solutions (BESS) and developments across the power purchase agreement (PPA) landscape, key topics will include empowering global supply chains and tackling sustainability targets.

Throughout the three-day event, ADE’s team of experienced energy experts will be on hand to talk with visitors about the opportunities presented by onsite renewable energy. With the ambition of putting solar panels on every commercial roof across Europe, ADE is committed to propelling businesses forward towards an energy landscape powered by clean, green, renewable resources.

ADE Commitment to the Sector

John Behan, CEO of ADE, said: “As the leading event for professionals working across residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale solar and storage, S&SL is a major event in the energy calendar. Sponsoring the C&I Theatre for the second year running demonstrates our commitment to leading the distributed energy conversation and supporting the global acceleration of renewable energy – not just for today, but for the future.

“Since last year’s event, ADE has continued to scale rapidly. Alongside further bolstering our team with a number of experienced new appointments, we recently secured a £170m debt facility to support the acceleration of our UK solar and BESS projects. As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we also acquired renewable energy developer Eden Sustainable, while our internationalisation programme has seen the business successfully expand into Germany.

“Throughout Solar & Storage Live, our team will be based around the C&I theatre and we welcome conversations with like-minded professionals.”
