AMPYR Distributed Energy acquires Eden Sustainable

AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), part of AGP Group, has announced the acquisition of Eden Sustainable (Eden), one of the UK’s leading developers of renewable energy solutions. The landmark deal brings together the investment strength of ADE with Eden’s renewables expertise and strong customer relationships.

Eden is a trusted developer in the UK commercial and industrial (C&I) renewables market and, as part of this acquisition, will retain its established brand, experienced team and head office in Exeter. ADE will provide strategic support to the business, working with the team to accelerate the delivery of a strong combined pipeline. ADE will also continue to provide PPA funding to more than twenty renewables developers across the UK and Europe.

Eden, a certified B Corp, provides renewable energy and energy storage solutions for both public and private sector organisations. From cold chain warehouses to multi-academy school trusts, the business has an award-winning approach to customer service, project execution and delivering positive environmental impact.

Eden will continue to be led by Jamie Brimblecombe and Justin Leger, as joint Managing Directors. Having been part of the senior leadership team for Eden for more than 7 years, the pair have proven influential in the company’s continued growth.
