AMPYR Distributed Energy’s delivery partner, Eden Sustainable, designed and delivered a bespoke 2.27 MW solar solution across the two sites under a Power Purchase Agreement, requiring zero upfront cost and placing no debt on Sofina’s balance sheet.
At Haverhill, the contaminated land was put back to work. With conventional construction methods restricted by the ground conditions, the array was carefully planned and engineered around those constraints, converting land that could not otherwise be developed into a long-term source of low-cost, low-carbon power for the site.
At Fraserburgh, a ground-mounted array was constructed to meet the site’s energy needs. Across both sites, south-facing panels were optimally angled for maximum solar capture, with each system tailored to the energy demand profile of the individual facility.
